Jeedom / NanoSense IP Gateway

The purpose of a gateway is to link two networks using different communication protocols. Mainly from home automation or IOT protocols to an IP network.

The Jeedom gateway customized by NanoSense allows to record locally the data of the indoor air quality sensors range (in ModBus or EnOcean) and to convert them into explicit data for sending via the network (Ethernet) to databases located on remote servers (Cloud).

Operation of the bridge

NanoSense probes transmit their data to the gateway.

The Jeedom software retrieves and translates the data, then saves it to the gateway's database.

The data can be consulted in direct reading and in history (curves) on the gateway. They can also be downloaded and/or sent to a remote database.

Use of the bridge

The NanoSense gateway has several uses, from Local supervision to Smart-Building via data transmission for remote supervision

Data collection

Data logging and display

data export (csv, PNG, ...)

comparisons of rooms or pollutants

Scenarios/implementation of actions

Alarms/Alerts

But above all, sending data to the cloud

It allows you to send IAQ measurements to the cloud, which can then be consulted remotely via a software or a supervision platform.

The data collected by the probes are in a format specific to their protocol. The Gateway transcodes this data to make it clearer and send it to the cloud.
